Harshad Chopda is an Indian Television Actor. Considered as an established and Senior Actor in the Industry, he belongs to a Marwadi Jain family and, hails from the Maharashtrian City of Gondia situated near Nagpur. Born on the 17th of May 1983, he completed his basic studies in Gondia and shifted to Pune for his higher education. It was here he met me (Lovell) and started his preparation for the glamour Industry under my guidance. From personality development to understanding the needs of the Indian glamour Industry Harshad was a determined, disciplined and dedicated student. His passion for the Industry in whatever he does brought out the perfectionist in him. Maintaining his physique at the gym and a supervised diet, dance, and acting classes was what he never missed.
In 2004, he participated in the Citadel Mr & Miss. Pune pageant conducted by India’s leading publishing house, Magna Publishing Company Ltd. Not only did he bag the Citadel Mr Physique title but he also bagged the first runners up title at Citadel Mr. Pune 2004. This was followed by him bagging the Grasim Best Smile title at the 2005 Grasim Mr India pageant held in Kolkata.
Soon after this he shifted to Mumbai where he was first seen in the television soap “Mamta”. His major break came when the production house Djs Creatives selected him toplay the role of Ali in the popular television serial on Sab Tv “Left Right Left”. In 2008 Harshad won the Star Parivaar Award for Favourite Naya Sadasya (Male) as Prem in “Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil”, and the Star Parivaar Award for Favourite Jodi along with Additi Gupta as Heer-Prem in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, This was followed by the Indian Telly Awards for Best actor as Anurag Ganguly in “Tere Liye” (2010). From playing a negative role in Mamta, to a youthful boy on Left Right Left, a positive guy on Ambar Dhara and a intense romantic lead in Kis Desh, Harshad feels he has evolved in the first four years, something that has not made him miss the big screen.
His charm, dashing good looks, positive warm aura and captivating smile has won him hearts all over the world of Indian television. Sharpening his skills in martial arts, fight and combat and dancing Harshad has a lot to offer the Film and Television Industry.
